This Freda is a Japanese-spec, right-hand-drive van It’s equipped with a metric instrument cluster, and the odometer shows about 184,900 kilometers, which represents approximately 114,900 miles.
Equipment includes 18-inch wheels brand new , a roof spoiler, cloth upholstery, fold-flat rear seats, power front windows and door locks, pop-out side windows, and air conditioning.
Modifications reported by the seller are limited to a set of aftermarket fog lights, Japanese electronic toll collection box.
Ford launched the Freda alongside Mazda’s Bongo for the Japanese market in 1995. Like its counterpart, the Freda could be ordered with two- or four-wheel drive along with gas- or diesel-powered engines. They were primarily sold in the Japanese and U.K. markets.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter inline-4, rated at approximately 105 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
