This truck, originally my first car at the age of 16, began as a humble purchase from a Montana farm. Over the past decade, it has been a labor of love—my hands have shaped it, my heart has fueled it, and countless hours of work have gone into perfecting this machine. Now, after ten years, I find myself at a crossroads. It’s time to let go and find a new owner who will continue to cherish it as I have.
“Gerald” has undergone a complete restoration from the ground up. The only remaining original parts are the main frame, front crossmember, rear trailing arms, and rear axle. Every other component has been meticulously rebuilt and refined. The body retains its original paint, showcasing the rugged character earned through years of hard work. Yet, when you take a moment to peer under the hood, examine the underside, the bed, or step inside the freshly refurbished interior, you’ll see a truck that has been transformed into something far more than just a machine. My goal was to allow the exterior to tell the story of its past, while the interior reflects the care and beauty invested in its revival.
With 625 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque, this truck is both a beast and a joy to drive. The 6-speed manual transmission paired with a Yukon Limited Slip Differential ensures a thrilling ride, whether you’re pushing it to the limit or cruising comfortably while enjoying the premium sound system.
I’ve built this truck to be both a showpiece and a powerhouse. It’s a vehicle that commands attention, a true head-turner, guaranteed to put a smile on your face as it does on everyone else’s.
I also have a detailed spreadsheet outlining all the work done on the truck, along with a comprehensive list of parts used in the restoration. I am more than happy to share these details during our discussions and throughout the sale process.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or inquiries. I’m happy to provide more information and discuss Gerald’s journey further.
Best regards,
Clay Kirksey
