This 1973 Chevrolet K10 Cheyenne is a 4×4 fleetside pickup that is finished in orange with a white top over tan vinyl upholstery and powered by a 6.0-liter V8 mated with a four-speed 4L80E automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes a new 4′ rough country suspension lift, Dakota Digital gauges, vinyl woodgrain accents, white-painted 15″ steel wheels with hubcaps, a custom bed-mounted matching spare wheel and tire, vintage air A/C, and a vintage-look push-button radio. Recently completed work consisted of refreshing the brakes, recharging the air conditioning, relocating the fuel tank, installing an aluminum radiator, shroud with dual spal fans, tilt steering column, and replacing the steering drag link, water pump, thermostat, and radiator hoses. This K10 pickup has a clean California title.
The truck is finished in orange with a white cab top and features vinyl woodgrain accents on the sides and tailgate. Additional features include Cheyenne badging, a dual exhaust system with exits behind each rear wheel, and chrome trim on the bumpers, side moldings, tailgate, wheel arches, and grille. A 31-gallon fuel tank was relocated beneath the bed, and a custom-fabricated fuel filler is mounted in the cargo area. The Chevrolet-script tailgate trim was recently added to finish off the exterior trim.
White-painted 15″ steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps along with 35×12.5″ Cooper Discoverer STT Pro white-letter tires. The truck features manually locking front hubs, power steering with hydroboost assisted front disc and rear drum braking system.
The cab features a bench seat upholstered in tan vinyl joined by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Woodgrain trim adorns the instrument surround and door panels, while additional interior features include air conditioning, a floor-mounted transfer case selector, lap belts, and a vintage-look push-button radio. A FiTech electronic fuel injection system is installed, and a new replacement dash pad and carpet were recently installed.
The two-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a replacement tilting column and fronts Dakota Digital gauges including a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for coolant temperature, fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and transmission temperature. The digital odometer shows under 9k miles.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed 4L80E automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The transmission is a fresh rebuild with a 2400 stall converter and a heavy-duty transmission fluid cooler was added at the same time.
