This 1962 nova wagon was completely disassembled and the entire car was media blasted to bare metal, There is no replacement patches in the body at all, the quarters, doors tailgate, There was two small patches in the front floor boards, the body work was started, firewall smoothing was all done by the previous owner then it was left to sit for at least 21 years, I bought it in 2020 as barely a rolling shell with plastic totes with all the original parts. I took inventory and made a list of everything needed to complete the car.

I took the original doors, fenders, and tailgate to the local powder coater and had them re blasted and powder coat primed inside and out, I completed many hours of bodywork and setting gaps for all the doors, fenders and hood Etc. I installed a brand new set of global west subframe connectors in the body. Every part that could be media blasted and restored was. I purchased a brand new mustang ll front clip with Wilwood disc brakes and power rack and pinion for the car, I had that powder coated gloss black as well as the new inner fender panels.

   I collected all nos gm 62 side trim, a nos tailgate die cast emblem, nos gm 62 parking light bezels, nos gm 62 nova grill, nos gm clear parking light lenses, I had the original 62 hood emblem, windsplint, and fender scallops re chromed, I also had a set of original gm bumpers re chromed.

 I removed all the stainless trim from the vent windows, rear door fixed windows, dash pad, drip rail trim, rear tailgate opening trim, windshield trim and windshield wiper arms, and sent it out for complete restoration and polishing.

    I took the car completely back apart and the entire car was painted in pieces with base coat clear coat jet black. I replaced every piece of glass with smoked glass (it’s not tinted) except the windshield I replaced with clear glass.  Every single window seal is brand new precision rubber seals, all door run Channels, door seals, windshield seal are all brand new, I bought pui door window felt kit with the chrome bead edge, new tailgate seal all was installed during re assembly.

   I installed a brand new painless wiring harness from front to back, A brand new set of Dakota Digital vhx gauges with bim module to transfer all the engine info to the dash, I installed a 64 nova automatic steering column that I modified to work with the rack and pinion steering, all brand new borgeson steering u joints and shaft, I installed a brand new turn signal switch in the column, all new light sockets, brand new tail light lenses, and all new gaskets and seals.

    I relocated the battery into the spare tire well, I ran brand new 1ot welding cable from the battery to a junction block up front, from there it powers the rest of the car.

   I completely cleaned, pressure washed and installed new SEM undercoating under the entire floor, I installed a brand new tanks inc fuel tank made for the nova with a internal 225lph fuel pump, brand new fuel regulator/Filter, I ran all brand new -6 ptfe fuel line and all brand new fittings from the tank to the engine.

I installed a brand new set of 2” drop multi leaf springs with polyurethane bushings, I media blasted and painted all the spring and shock hardware installed all new bolts, I installed a brand new pair of Viking double adjustable billet rear shocks, The rear end is a 66 nova 8.2 posi, 3:55 gears and brand new moser axels with 1/2” lug studs, brand new Wilwood disc brakes and brand new Wilwood e brake cables.

    The interior is all brand new, I disassembled the original front and rear seats installed new burlap on the springs and new foam, then installed the brand new pui light fawn seat covers. I installed Noico heat/ sound deadener insulation on the whole roof before installing the brand new pui headliner, I media blasted and painted all the headliner trim pieces and re painted them to match the interior, I installed all brand new (40’) of windlace around the door openings, I installed a brand new trim parts dome light base and lens, brand new sun visor supports sun visors as well as a brand new rear view mirror and bracket.

   I painted all the interior metal to match the light fawn interior, I installed Plastic sheeting on every door behind all the door panels to keep any moisture off the door panels,  The door panels are pui light fawn 64 pattern I even installed the 400 series badges on them, I installed all new door panel clips and plugs in the doors, I installed brand new pui arm rests front and rear as well as the pads and ashtrays, 

     I completely cleaned and greased all window regulators and door latches to work as new, greased windows tracks etc, I installed all brand new interior door handles and window cranks as well as outer door handles. I installed a brand new pui cargo interior panel set as well as a brand new cargo floor carpet. I made the new kick panels out of smooth frp and painted them the same color as the interior, installed new carpet and brand new sill plates.

   The engine is a low mileage stock ls1 5.7 out of a wrecked Camaro with a 4l60 automatic transmission, I have pics of the car and odometer of the donor car. I completely disassembled the factory gm engine harness and reassembled for standalone use, I had the ecu flashed, the car runs great, I built a custom cold air intake which pulls cold air from the grill, I installed a De Witt’s aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, I installed a brand new Tci aluminum radiator support and I Fitted a brand new set of grill filler panels.

   I ran all brand new brake lines front to back, installed a brand new Wilwood master cylinder and proportioning valve, a new rubber flex hose from the hard line to the rear end etc. The car is sitting on 2 piece 17” American racing torque thrust ll rims with brand new tires.

   I may have forgotten a couple things, basically this car is all brand new, not one bolt left un touched, I have a stack of receipts and hundreds of pictures of the car start to finish, this is a turn key driver clean title in my name, registration is good until oct 2025.
